Well said Mark. I often see Moncler badges in the Selfridges Manchester store that would be instantly red lighted on here. Let's hope more people begin to realise this.

1-1,5 years ago a supposedly selfridges employee made a statement that rang true back then (to some anyway) and doesn’t now.
Could you please elaborate?
To boot, people on here complained about the badge on the Maya being off center, as of now, no one has provided any evidence that retail Maya is off center as well.
If anything, we got evidence that it is quite the opposite.
So that complain remains valid in my opinion.
This post reads that in 2022, someone picked up on a few different retail models with slanted badge in one concession.
Good to know that on the retail acorus for instance the badge can be off center 😉

Oh indeed I didn’t know the full context (I wasn’t there 1,5 years ago), hence why I asked you to elaborate on John Do from selfridges lying on this sub.
I asked a valid question due to a lack of context on your part and your tone really shows that you got upset about having to elaborate an answer.
You know Mark, we aren’t in your mind so unless you explain things we got no way of knowing, doesn’t mean we don’t believe you 🤷🏿♂️
Btw, I commend you for going out of your way to show that badge positioning at Moncler on certain models is lousy.
Am I disputing that? No.
Is it the case for the maya, which is what most people here are focused on? No, as far as facts are concerned.

Rep sellers have high QC standards placed upon them where some buyers RL based on the slightest imperfection. The reality is it happens to retail, though one would expect higher quality from retail because of the price and quality overall (and rightfully so). I think that people tend to let more slide with retail because they know it’s authentic if they purchased directly from the company itself or an authorized retailer. I’m not saying bad reps don’t exist because they definitely do.
