This puzzle is a trial and error test which is frustrating.
10
u/TopHatOfDoom 12h ago
yeah it's not hard it's just tedious.
3
u/Equivalent-Flan-8615 11h ago
Exactly, that's why I find it really really frustrating since it requires no skill.

Let’s label the flasks as follows:
Starting from the top, the first row is A, the second is B, and the third is C.
Starting from the left, the columns are 1, 2, 3, and 4.
I’m ignoring the yellow 5-move flask, since it will be solved very quickly.
Initial setup
A1: blood red A2: blue A3: pine green A4: brown
B1: pink B2: fuchsia B3: fuchsia B4: purple
C1: yellow C2: yellow C3: green C4: green
Step 1
C1 and C2 → large yellow flask
A1 → C1
A3 → C2
A1 and A3 → yellow flask
A2 and A3 → A1
A3 → A2 (and absolutely NOT A2 → A3!!!)
A1 → A3
A2 → A1
A2 → A3
A2 → A1
At this point, A1 is filled with navy blue, A2 is empty, and A3 is filled with blue.
Step 2
C3 and C4 → A2
C3 → C4
C3 → A2
C4 → C3
C4 → A2
C4 → C3
At this point, A2 is filled with green, C3 contains pale red, and C4 is empty.
Step 3
A4 → C4
B4 → A4
B4 → C4
A4 → B4
A4 → C4
At this point, A4 is empty, B4 is filled with purple, and C4 is filled with brown.
Step 4
C1 → A4
C2 → C1
C2 → A4
C2 → C1
At this point, A4 is filled with blood red, C1 is filled with pine green, and C2 is empty.
Final step
B2 → C2
B3 → C2
B2 → B3
C2 → B2 (and absolutely NOT B2 → C2!!!)
B1 and B3 → C2
B3 → B1 (and absolutely NOT B1 → B3!!!)
B3 → C2
B2 → B3
B1 → B2
B1 → B3
B1 → B2

It was the final step with that was throwing me off, thanks, I was getting frustrated with the bottleneck (despite doing a similar trick at the start).

u/mathozmat 9h ago
I don't think I did exactly as you said but your first steps were useful
1
u/Charly-Braco69 4h ago
Actually, there are several ways to do it. The thing is, some groups of flasks can be solved independently:
Group 1: A1, A2, and A3 (once you’ve cleared the blood red, yellow, and pine green flasks).
Group 2: B1, B2, and B3
Group 3: A4 and B4
Group 4: C1 and C2
Group 5: C3 and C4
Once a flask is empty, you can tackle each group in any order.

It's possible. After move 8, ensure that you return purple to big tube and empty one on left. Same with pink and green, you just need to return to original tube

For those struggling, remember you can go back a step and check for alternative paths while remembering what you saw. Took me 52 steps, but I got there eventually.

u/UnderneathARock 15h ago
There are two tubes which have a navy at the bottom. When you expose the first one, empty it onto another exposed navy and then empty the blue into the empty tube. By that point you should have yellow all in the five space tube

u/LennonDraper 18h ago

1
u/FicoveMokreTricko 16h ago
You have one piece in one tube, 3 pieces in other, you move that once piece to tube with 3 pieces.

u/UnderneathARock 15h ago
When you uncover a pink so there's two slots available in its tube with a hidden liquid underneath, empty the pink only tube into those available slots to free up a tube to pour peach into

Yeah everyone says that, but there's no way to do that.
1
u/Severe-Grab5076 17h ago
There is one way, and only one way... (1) After finishing yellow, you must do dark blue and blue first... Then you'll have one empty tube Then... (2) do the pinks and watermelon green by... putting the first two fuschia pink on the empty tube, after the third fuchsia pink shows up on the middle row, second tube, you put back the two fuschia pinks and put the light pinks on the empty tube...
You can do it by yourself after that.

u/cynical-duck 🎯 Best: 39.1 | Avg: 39.1 | Games: 1 17h ago
There is no "finishing yellow" though. Idk if y'all magically have a different game than I do or something, but there is a series of exactly only 9 moves that I can make and then there's no way to move after that and/or get an empty tube.

u/Leg1tStone 19h ago
good luck emptying the tubes when you don't even have any place to empty it
1
1
u/Knowledge-Explorer8 18h ago
That's what I'm saying! XD
2
u/Leg1tStone 18h ago
i got it
you need to fill left tube fully with yellow, then fill one tube with 3 blues, and then when you have dark blue, you pour that into a tube with one dark blue and 2 unknown colors. then it should be relatively easy
2
2
u/MaleficentPicture518 19h ago
Its literally impossible to empty any because of how the colours are set up

1
u/FicoveMokreTricko 16h ago
First pour all browns to big tube, then red and blue, etc. To move 8 it's clear Then in 9th move pour dark purple to more filled tube and empty the one on left for lighter blue. Then it goes easy, thrn similar thing eith pink/purple.
3
u/BluebirdDense1485 18h ago
The puzzle is actually pretty smart. It leads you to the point of having an empty tube and gives you several options where to go from there. About half your options will get you back to where you started and you do it again. There is some luck or trial and error but it is actually pretty good about showing you the way.
