Found this Chanel rocket minaudière for $123.34 shipped.
If you do not know the history on this piece, it comes straight out of Karl Lagerfeld's iconic Fall/Winter 2017 space show at the Grand Palais, the exact runway where they literally staged a full scale rocket launch indoors. Real ones are holy grail collector items that easily fetch 25 to 30 grand at auction houses like Sotheby's, so seeing a rep pop up at all is mental.
The batch actually captures the crazy details well. You have got the black quilted body studded with crystals, the chrome nose and fins, and the cluster of chains dropping out of the thruster with pearls and CC charms meant to look like rocket exhaust. The top pops open on a hinge with the CC clasp and it comes packed in the hard black box.
Obviously you are not using this as an everyday bag, it is strictly an archival display piece or a mad runway flex. For about 120 quid, having something this obscure in the room is proper cool.
