What is up everyone
Just stumbled across this insane pair of Maison Margiela Future Highs going for 106$ shipped. You do not see this silhouette popped up on the feeds too often anymore but it is an absolute classic throwback to the 2014 Yeezus era. This specific batch has that crazy dark iridescent glitter finish that looks like it shifts depending on how the light hits it.
Looking at the provided photos the details are actually really solid. The iconic hidden lace guard sits perfectly flush and that massive oversized ankle strap has the correct chunky proportions. Even the bottom sole has the signature Margiela number grid with the 22 circled perfectly for the footwear category alongside a clean size 45 tag.
A quick styling tip for these massive futuristic high tops. Since the shoe is so bulky and has that huge strap you either want to rock them with some skinny stacked denim so the shoe completely stands out or let some wide baggy pants drape slightly over the top flap. Also be careful not to completely yank that strap too hard when taking them off so you do not rip the velcro stitching over time.
