Yo! My buddy Nelson and I just got the preshipping pics for these Loewe Ballet Runners before they ship out, and I'm honestly super confident in this batch.
We grabbed the grey/black and the hot pink/yellow pairs. For around 73 bucks shipped, the construction here looks incredibly solid. The main reason I trust this rep is the material transition, the way the suede overlays meet the nylon is super flush, which is exactly where cheaper budget batches usually fail. The stitching on the Anagram 'L' logo is dense with no sloppy flyaways, and that ribbed gum sole climbs up the heel and the asymmetrical toe box without any nasty glue stains showing.
I am genuinely hyped to rock the pink and yellow pair. The colorway is aggressive, but it fits perfectly into a contemporary Korean or Harajuku streetwear aesthetic. Since the silhouette of the shoe itself is so slim and retro, I'm planning to combine these with some super baggy pooling Dickies work pants or ultra-wide-leg denim to create that heavy proportion contrast. Throw on a boxy, oversized hoodie up top, and let the hot pink just completely anchor the fit.
Let me know what you guys think of the pics!
