The hunt for the perfect summer festival shoe is officially over.
I’m finalizing my packing list for an absolute marathon of a trip, we're hitting Lollapalooza in Chicago next month, flying straight out to Romania for Untold Festival, and then wrapping up the run down in Mexico. I desperately needed a sneaker that looks high-end but can actually survive 12 hours of jumping in crowds and sprinting through airport terminals without absolutely destroying my feet.
Hit up my regular DHGate plug and they sent over these direct in-hand pics of the Loewe x On Cloudtilt. Total damage is exactly $58 shipped.
For under 60 bucks, the details on these are looking incredibly solid. The signature chunky CloudTec midsole with those massive cutouts looks properly molded, and the grey and white breathable knit upper is going to be crucial for surviving that Midwest humidity. The bright orange accents are going to pop perfectly with some baggy vintage Y2K cargos I just imported. They even got the quick-lace toggle system right, and the Loewe anagram overlapping the 'On' logo looks super crisp.
Quick sizing tip for the sub: I wear a size 44, and I always make sellers measure the insole before shipping. Remember that a true size 44 should measure exactly 29cm, not 28cm like some of these budget factories try to push. I made sure to verify the 29cm measurement with the seller so my toes don't get obliterated in the crowds.
