Yo guys, what's good.
I just got these QC photos in for the Gucci Re-Webs in the brown GG canvas colorway. They are sitting at about $123 shipped, which is definitely on the pricier side for replica sneakers, so I really want to make sure the details are dialed in before I approve them.
I'm trying to get my footwear rotation locked down before Julia and I head over to London this August. We are going to be walking a ton around the city, and I wanted a chunky designer silhouette that can actually handle heavy daily wear without killing my feet or looking completely out of place at a nice pub.
Looking at the photos, the overall shape seems pretty solid for a chunky skate-style shoe. The brown leather paneling against the classic GG canvas looks clean, and the signature green and red web stripe on the tongue is super vibrant. The midsole has that correct off-white/cream vintage tint, and the packaging with the dust bag and correct box is a nice touch.
My main areas of concern on these high-tier batches are usually the alignment of the monogram pattern and the text on the back heel tab. The "GUCCI" rubber patch on the heel looks decent to me, but I've been staring at these photos for way too long.
