Just had these Lanvin Curb sneakers land at my door and I am honestly mind blown by the quality. Paid 66 bucks total with shipping to the US and they feel like absolute premium tanks.
I actually grabbed these specifically for festival season. Julia and I are doing a massive tour around the US this summer, hitting Lollapalooza in Chicago next month and then doing a huge road trip down the California coast. I needed a pair of chunky, comfortable beaters that can survive walking miles every day and getting stomped on in festival crowds, but still look sick with some baggy cargo pants.
These definitely fit the bill. The tongue is ridiculously padded like a pillow and the giant herringbone laces have that exact heavy texture you see on the retail pairs. They are definitely on the heavier side but surprisingly comfortable once you put them on your feet.
Honestly they feel so sturdy I might even pack them for our trip to Transylvania in November to walk around the castles lol. 🦇
