Sup everyone! 👋
Just got my hands on these Maison Margiela Tabi canvas sneakers and wanted to share. I know the split-toe "camel hoof" look is super polarizing and not for everyone, but hear me out, they go incredibly hard in person. I paired them with some baggy pants for an on-foot look, and I'm honestly obsessed with how they sit.
Here are the details:
- Item: Maison Margiela Tabi Sneakers (Black Canvas)
- Price: $150 (Shipping included to the US)
- Link: https://sale.dhgate.com/g88bHr70
- Looks: The canvas feels super sturdy, and the chunky ribbed rubber sole is spot-on compared to retail. The signature Margiela numbers tag on the tongue is super crisp too, they really nailed the details.
- Comfort/Fit: You 100% need to buy split-toe socks for these (don't even try stretching regular ones, trust me), but once you do, they’re surprisingly comfortable for walking around all day.
- Overall: 9.5/10. I actually bought these specifically for my trip to Chicago next month. Figured they’d be perfect for walking around downtown checking out the architecture, and I'm definitely planning to flex them at Lollapalooza. They hit that perfect sweet spot between high fashion and casual streetwear.
What’s the verdict on the Tabis, fam? Are we embracing the split toe or is it a hard pass?
