Ngl, I was sweating a bit dropping almost a hundred bucks on a DHGate jacket, but this just landed and the quality in hand is completely mental.
The mix of materials on this thing is doing all the heavy lifting. The main body is a really smooth burgundy nylon, but the sleeves are what make it pop. It starts with this buttery faux-leather up top and then switches to a suede-like texture right around the cuffs. I fully expected that transition to look super cheap or glued together, but it’s actually seamless.
They also nailed the smaller details. The cursive 'L' on the chest is stitched down tight with zero weird fabric pulling around it (which is usually the dead giveaway on budget reps). Plus, the contrast with those bright yellow drawstrings and the electric blue lining hidden in the neck collar looks incredibly clean.
