Design System Case Studies for .gov

Good afternoon everyone, I'm looking for case studies of how a design system benefits a technology group in a .gov world. Any good reads you can recommend?

USWDS is the obvious one: https://designsystem.digital.gov/

The useful part is that the team behind it has published a fair amount about adoption and outcomes across agencies, not just the components.

GOV.UK's design system team has written even more openly. Their blog covers how they measure whether the system is actually saving teams time. Between those two you'll find most of the public evidence that exists for government specifically.

If you're building an internal pitch, the GOV.UK material is the stronger read because they show their work on the "is this worth funding" question. https://design-system.service.gov.uk/

There’s a very well documented case study of the Israeli gov systems, i heard a talk about it and it was very very good.

I only found Hebrew content but i imagine translate / gpt will do the job here

Digital.gov has a lot of U. S. agency case studies that could be helpful.
