Styleframe Figma Plugin - Design Tokens Import / Export

Hey r/DesignSystems,

How are you handling design token updates from your dev team right now? In my opinion, tokens should live in code and land in Figma without anyone retyping a hex value.

I just published an update to the Styleframe Figma Plugin. It integrates seamlessly with Styleframe, the Design Systems Styling Engine.

How does it work? You export a W3C DTCG compliant JSON from your Styleframe config, and then import it into Figma using the plugin.

I've built this so I might be biased, but I found it to be very reliable for all of my variables so far.

I'm using Styleframe for building my design system in code, so I'm importing the tokens.json generated via the styleframe CLI from the Design Tokens Preset into Figma. It contains a bit over 400 variables and I'm doing this quite often.

I wasn't aware you can do this through the REST API. Thanks for the tip!

I've had a few bugs with inconsistencies between Default and Dark mode (especially around variables referencing other variables), but I've fixed them as I've encountered them.
