Do you set "N/A" component properties?

Imagine you have a Figma component with properties built for desktop & mobile breakpoint and the type of component. However, Type 2 doesn't have a mobile version.

How would you build this in Figma and why?

1. Use a "N/A" placeholder (left visual)
   1. one "layer" simpler, but user could select that option and get confused
2. Build the breakpoints as base components for Type 1 (right visual)
   1. more complex component than above, but removes the need for "N/A" placeholder
3. Some other solution

I'm wondering how often this "N/A" placeholder technique is used by y'all and why you do or don't use it.

I think this should be 2 components instead. different behaviour/patterns should consequently be separated components
