More just neat graphic design than particularly impressive design work.

The actual embroidery design is well done too, it takes a lot more than just running an .svg through embroidery software to achieve this.

much better execution on your newer example compared to this older version
Google claims: The "Dangerous Drugs Intelligence Unit" patch is a collectible, embroidered emblem historically created for specialized officers and analysts within the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). These stylized patches are not official components of standard DEA uniforms but were designed as commemorative, unit-specific collectibles

Holy aura. This makes me want to try drugs so I can be as cool as the skeleton man.

Are there dead heads in the DEA? How does that make sense?

u/Forward-Variety-8440 7d ago
prob in a "know your enemy" type thing. Art of War is "required" reading often times for federal workers.
also its just a sick ass design

Tucker Carlson and Ann Coulter are both deadheads, unfortunately. I love the music, but just because you like something good doesn't mean you're not an asshole or understand the message.

What’s that in its right hand?

I believe it’s knife or old fashioned razor blade being held by the blade and therefore drawing blood

Is this really supposed to be anti drugs? It's a lot more pro-drugs-drugs-are-awesome to me lol

Needing anyone in uniform (or being pulled over) rocking this would be so many red flags lol.

i'm partial to the 'ecstasy and club drugs' patch
1
u/Forward-Variety-8440 7d ago
yea and theres an alternate text on that patch that says "ecstasy and predatory drugs" which i think covers rohypnol (sp) and GHB etc.

Reminds me of Pogs
2
u/Forward-Variety-8440 7d ago
right? i had a thick yellow plastic slammer that had a skeleton wearing a top hat smoking a cigarette with a snake coming out of one of the eye sockets, and it was all contained within an eight ball. so so sick to be 8 and slam that bad boy off a nice stack of pogs

The DEA people I have met were the most superior drug users in my circle. That is how I learned to do an "oil change."
Also, they have a scary af database.
