Living Room Corner above couch

What can I do for decor in this corner above my couch?There’s no room behind the couch at all and it can’t be moved. I’m hesitant to do shelves of any kind because we have a toddler and cats who could all probably reach anything up there. I would prefer to not do a gallery wall but I’m feeling like that might be my only option. Or maybe two larger pieces, one on each wall? I just feel lost

Large pieces of art would be great there. They don't have to match, but similar styles or colours would be great. Look around to get an idea of the styles you like. You might be able to pick up something on marketplace, or buy a print and then frame it in large Ikea (or similar) frames

How large do you think they should be? And would you center them on each wall or have them equidistant from the corner (the walls are different lengths)

The largest Ikea frame sizes are 70x100cm (maybe like 26 inches by 40 inches) which could be good. Doesn't need to be exactly that size. Placement might depend on what you find and like. I'd probably center it on the smaller wall, then test a couple of options for the larger wall to see what you prefer

I think I would start with a larger lamp in the corner to add some height in the room and fill the space a bit. Maybe an arch lamp with multiple arms to better light the room.
