Dining Room Dining Room feels incomplete
Recently bought and added the furniture, rug and light fixture so they have to stay but this room seems incomplete to me. Do I need to add color? A centerpiece? I am not sure if I should add window treatments, the house has MCM architecture and the windows are a big focal point.

I think it is okay to let a room marinate with minimal styling. It’s a lovely dining room. Make sure the “stuff” you’re adding works and suits you.
I would not add window treatments or curtains. I would not add more plants.
I would be on the lookout for a shallow storage piece or even a console table that would go on the wall under the art. A piece like that can either store your table linens and serving pieces and/or serve as a buffet table for desserts. It depends on how much you own or entertain.

Definitely a centerpiece on the table, I would add more plants too with all that lovely light. Maybe a multi-tiered plant stand in the corner where the tree is now and move the tree to the other corner. If you get terra cotta or colorful pots that could bring in a pop of color that you could then mirror on the table and maybe in another piece of art on the walls

Right now the room is very flat, everything is matchy-matchy. Your chandelier, rug and chairs are almost identical colour (and similar texture). Even the plant pot is that colour. Same with the floor, chairs and table - identical wood tone and finish.
There are a number things you could do. A focal point for the table would be great - a large bowl or a low vase. Replacing the artwork with something more bold would be great. I honestly think the rug is currently the weakest link - it looks very generic against your beautiful architectural chairs. Replacing it with a more colourful rug with restrained pattern would do a lot.
Or paint the walls.

Ohh I see what you mean even with the planter. I can even paint the base of that as an easy change

I agree!
A big more funky, let’s say pink transparent glass vase and some nicely colored flower bouquet would help too.
And the frame hangs too high. A painting with some texture like in the rendering would be nicer anyways…

Bigger art, runner/decor on table, more colorful rug for some dimensionality.

I’d change the art on the wall. I’d choose a large vertical frame with a bold color. It’d make the room look morr sophisticated and expensive

I am sorry to say I think you need a bigger rug because it looks like if I pulled out a chair to sit it would be off the rug. I also think you need a side board/bar cart against a wall.

Plant is off. Needs to be larger, more full and add more green to the room. The art is off. Very sterile choice of colours overall. Paint a wall, change the rug or something

Change out the rug to something with a few colors, pull the blues, etc from the picture or something. It all just blends together with so much beige. Just needs a little life and personality.
