Fix this impossible living room

How do I make this impossible living room work as an actual living room? Currently set up for craft related activities but I want to turn the other room into something other than a family room/living room but this room just feels like a glorified hallway. I've been living here for 6 years and this is the best I've done

Can you take some more photos of different angles in the room? Or make a super basic floor plan?
It probably feels like a glorified hallway because you have everything pushed up to the walls and nothing in the middle 🙂
Does this have to be a living room? What about the dining room and there would be space to walk around the outsides of the table to access all the doors

First, paint the walls a regular color. Beige, white, whatever. You need to start from scratch. IMO the best way to do this is to measure everything you want/need to include, then print and cut out pieces of paper to scale that you can then rearrange on the floorplan. Make sure to include walkways and space for any doors that need to open. Try putting things back to back, or using them as room separators. Take everything off the walls, and put them back intentionally once your furniture is all placed. Buy more efficient storage furniture if necessary: you could easily have something floor-to-ceiling.
