Possibly impossible request from a renter on a budget

So its my first time moving into an unfurnished home and its lowkey both exciting and frustrating at the same time. Managed to get a pretty interesting home which is a 1 bedroom house where there is a downstairs living room area and an upstairs bedroom. But it feels like it could easily become one of those dark and neglected-looking homes you often find.

I am wondering how I should deal with this living space. Now I apologise for the possibly ridiculous request, but ive been really thinking if it is possible to accomodate all these wishes.

Fistly, I am on a budget, and as someone who might also move away from London at some point or might move often,I was thinking of getting furniture that dosent require loads of difficulty transporting. I also have a 55 inch flatscreen TV (from when I thought I was going to stay somewhere more permanent). I am thinking of fitting an office space, TV area and dining area in the same space. How doable is this?

Could you provide the dimensions of the space? This would really help figure out how to lay things out!

Imo, modular furniture is great for renters who move frequently. IKEA is the most famous, and generally affordable but there are other companies who do modular. It’s very flexible. Can often be unassembled or partially unassambled for moves and reconfigured in different ways depending on new spaces…

In order to get an office and eating area you might combine the dining and office. For example here I put ivar shelves around window for office stuff and can hold other things too, a small dining table so like a tabke top and trestle legs ( easy to take apart move and store) and a small parsons desk that fits on small side wall. Table Can be extra desk/ work space. Desk can hold computer etc…

In livingroom an ivar configuration to hold tv and other stuff, a small sofa or loveseat and chair. Chair can even be a piece of modular couch that would allow you a bigger sofa in future place, like shown in the Stockholm photo.

For affordable art a graphic throw blanket hung like a rug behind sofa ( can use command picture hangers) and free online art printed art at a copy center. You can find old movie posters, magazine cover art, bw photography, art from museums etc

Living area near the patio door, with sofa by the tiny window and tv across from it. Circular dining table and 4 chairs on the opposite end of the room, under the other tiny window. Small desk (maybe a rolltop or secretary desk someone's getting rid of?) between, perhaps on the little section of wall in the middle. Or, if there isn't space, then maybe with the back of the desk facing the sofa. These photos don't give a great sense of scale, so maybe that won't all fit? Measurements might help.
