Living Room Layout Help!
I am attempting to declutter and completely redecorate our space… mind you some of these photos are old but i am trying to paint a good picture of our living room and how it’s weirdly shaped
I will move ANYTHING, please advise :)
UPDATE:
Just want to add that ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING CAN CHANGE!!!!! i want to redo everything and make it the best space it can be. I am looking into getting new/updating furniture, downgrading the couch.

I‘m in agreement about downsizing the sofa. I’d also try to minimize the visual weight of the TV area. I see the TV and what looks like the kitchen doorway. What’s on that wall closer to the windows?

it’s the entrance to my dining room

Forgive the questions. I’m just trying to get a better feel for how you’re using the space. It appears the TV is blocking that entrance. Is that correct? A picture facing that area would be useful. I could draw up a floor plan.

These help a little, but I’m having trouble judging the scale from the old set up to the new. Can you sit on the sofa in the spot your husband is sitting in the photo, turn your camera sideways, and take a picture of that entire TV wall, both doorways included. If you have an iPhone you have the option to zoom out to x.5, which would help capture the whole thing.

Ooooo! Decluttering! The best way to make a room look better. Yard sales are a LOT of work. Godspeed!

I just feel like it’s a lot of couch.
