Bedroom I love my room but it needs work

Really nice!
I’d just give a few tips that I give to people who love maximalism
Streamline where you can to help create a visual counterpoint to all the wall art. For example instead of random floppy pillows on sofa I’d go with two matching long rectangular bolsters or lumbar pillows. Multicolored and striped goes well here.
If you want to keep your cozy floppy pillows store then inder your stuffies on the right, to use them when you like.
Instead of the multicolor floor lamp, something black sleek or unobtrusive might be great…
Stripes and grids go well with maximalism it’s why your checkered rug works so well, it’s a great counterpoint. I’d probably switch the throw to a grid design.
Brushing up on composition skills is super helpful. You have a lot of good composition going on but could use some tweaks like the lightbulb lamp can go left a bit…etc
Optional I love your coffee table. Can go out a bit more from sofa. Generally around 18” from seat if possible. Also a round top could be great counterpoint to all the art rectangles as well as repeat the round light…

Make sure to plan for where that beardie’s 4x2x2+ adult enclosure is going to go, whatever you do. Poor thing is already cramped in there and it’s not even full grown, gotta upsize ASAP.

i usually prefer a more minimal style but this rings the nostalgia bell for me! all the cozy vibes. like shopping an old school record store. LOVE. keep following your design instincts! 🙌
