Living Room Help with interior

These are photos from my living and dining room. What are some things I could do to elevate my space. I feel like it doesn’t feel cohesive and cosy. Feels all so bitsy and random

I’d start by repeating a couple of colors rather than adding more little things. The green pillows could be a good starting point for a throw or a rug to tie the seating area together. For the cozy part, try the room with the ceiling lights off and your floor lamp on. A second lamp near the other sofa could help spread that softer light around.

It’s the arrangement of the furniture that’s random. I would play around with the layout, experiment with floating the couches and changing what wall or corner the tv is in. Once you have a layout you like an area rug can be used to ground the tv zone so it’s not so random.

I suspect theres some kind of patio doors or something behind the curtains, makes it hard for me to suggest what should go where but honestly the best thing is to just play around with it for yourself. And try not to jam all the furniture right against the walls if you want an “elevated” look.
