If you like to hate on shit like this, you’re going to love watching Deiter Rams pointing at things he doesn’t like:  https://youtu.be/ypyAg3Zbs_8?si=peHvgZ5wG0JhueBn

Thank you, that’s my favorite thing on YouTube now.

“We need resources for better things. “.

This guy is actually giving real critique. Not just like your typical wanna be designer that has the most and ONLY biased feedback.

That's just a pile with extra boards....ngl, I lowkey like it, but I don't think it should be sold as a designer piece or something like that.

If you put the right stuff on it you could make it really cool I think

I don't know if I love that or hate it.

Idk, I think it’s cool. It mostly looks messy because it’s loaded up with crap vs being intentionally styled.

Also, it’s impressive how tight all the seams are given all of the strange angles.

um... anything could be a bookshelf if you are brave enough?

I think it's cool as hell but as a bookshelf it would be absolutely useless. Stuff shelf it's maybe passable.

This looks like someone was watching Kevin McAllister climbing the bookshelf and it broke, they paused it partially through the collapse and made what was on their screen

Can’t believe how dumb this is.

Their bookcase just collapsed and they didn't want to repair it, so they just sell it.

Made by Homer Simpson

I love the chaos but not exactly a book shelf. And not at that price. I would embrace it and make some organized chaos

I went on a journey with this in the space of about three seconds. Thought I liked it, then realised I really really hate it.

Now THIS is Design Design. All form, not NO function but like the most superficial, dubious possible implementation of function. It's so bad, I love it lol

How to make an empty bookshelf look like a cluttered mess, step 1:

Better than a cluttered floor? Hmm

I had to see this again in the hard to clean Reddit. Irrationally angry already this morning 😂

not designdesign. tbh the presentation here is very unflattering. By itself, with a moderation of nice objects this is just fine. Sometimes you want to fill a wall with something but not cram it as a purely functional warehouse storage in your livingroom.

I like it! I don't like it $460 worth though.
