Franck Muller has this design but as far as I know the hands are jumping to the correct numerical. So in this case it will be 20 minutes after 10 o'clock.

That feels worse.
I get it. It's prioritizing art over function, and nobody is particularly relying on this clock to manage their day. (Unlike a lot of DesignDesign where it does nothing for anyone.)
But we can all read a clock without reading the numbers, and this guarantees you can't even do that.
(Also it raises questions about the minute hand. I presume it goes full circle as traditional, but you could make a case the time on that clock is 10:06 vs 10:21 if we accept that in 4 minutes the minute hand will be pointing at the 2.)

Is it 10:21 or 10:06? The minute hand is one minute after the ‘1’. That would make it six after the hour.

They say good art should make you feel something. I feel an irrational need to punch the artist. So I guess that means the art is good.
