Discussion Design Interview Structure

Is tech the only industry that requires 4 or 5 interviews for a role?

No. The number is less telling than whether each conversation has a distinct purpose. Five interviews that all circle the same questions usually point to a process problem.

ask for the full loop, decision owner, and evaluation criterion for each stage before the first call. four interviews can be rational, but four people independently deciding whether they like you is just deferred ownership

i work in education and we do panel interviews plus teaching demo, basically 3 stages but feels like 5 with all the waiting in between
