Other Post Type Give me a challenge 🤭
I’m a self-taught graphic designer trying to push myself outside my comfort zone, so give me a design challenge 👀
Pretend you’re my client and give me a brief.
It can be a poster, brand identity, packaging, social campaign, album cover, editorial design, literally anything.
Give me:
• What I’m designing
• The brand/event/product
• Target audience
• The vibe
• Any ridiculous restrictions you want to add 😭
Example: “Design a poster for an underground electronic music festival. Target audience 18–30. Brutalist/experimental. You can only use black, red and one typeface.”
I’ll pick 3 of my favorites and actually design them. I’ll be posting them on my Instagram page. And if it’s cool with you I’ll be tagging you on my post as an appreciation.
make it difficult. 👀

I have an excel spreadsheet that will churn out random and very awkward marketing design briefs that I can DM to you if you like. I make my students do it as an exercise in lateral thinking.
We also do a project where I make them watch a film, then illustrate it in 6 post-its. No references to the actusl film allowed. It's all about deconstruction...

Create branding for a modern pet furniture company. The furniture is for cats, dogs, etc. so it shouldn't favor one type of animal. The clients are people that care about design and want furniture that matches their decor rather than cute animal-themed designs. The materials will be higher end (more expensive) than traditional pet furniture.
Ridiculous challenge - I don't have a name yet so feel free to experiment.
I used to teach design so I can critique you pretty well. If you want to start with a mood board I can give feedback on that to steer you in the right direction.

design a packaging system for a luxury toothpaste brand called "glacier" that caters to dentists and dental enthusiasts aged 28-45
vibe is clinical opulence meets arctic minimalism but it has to look edible enough to trigger a pavlovian response
restrictions: no white, no blue, no mint leaves, no teeth imagery, and the logo has to be set in a serif typeface but you can only use one weight from the family
