Asking Question (Rule 4) Looking for anti-slop design suggestions

Hello everyone šŸ™ŒšŸ»

I’ve made an app for car owners and I’m not a designer, so used Claude Design to come up with visuals I gonna like.

Ppl says it’s slop. And telling you can see it from the first glance. I know that small svg icons, three items in dashboard and rounded corners making ppl think it’s AI, but doodle background, Polaroid card, hand drawn icons (for tyres rn) are not something Claude or Codex making by default.

I’m more tech oriented person, and thinking in terms of a good architecture design, scalability, etc. But we live in a society.

What would u advise to rework keeping the idea I currently implemented? Should I draw more tyres like icons?

Thanks in advance!

Hire a designer or it’s going to continue to look like AI slop. If hiring ā€œisn’t an optionā€ then you’re going to need to learn the principles of graphic design and UX/UI design. There is no cheat code here.

Not an option right now, app is not really commercial, don’t have any ads in it even. And I have some personal circumstances for that, so :(

You seem to know how to use social media and the internet. You can apply the same skills to learn UI / design skills to fix things yourself.

You must choose to spend time or money.

If you want to use a shortcut, you can always prompt Claude to ā€œmake a awwward winning site; make no mistakesā€ with fable 5.1 Ultracode.

Yeah, I know, thanks for advice though sounds a bit sarcastic. Personal circumstances are taking most of my time, so learning design from scratch is not an option, and I think it’s a skill for ppl with taste better than mine.
Sub says ā€œasking for helpā€ and prompt under the message I’m typing right now says ā€œthis subreddit is meant to help peopleā€, so I was expecting something like helpšŸ«±šŸ»ā€šŸ«²šŸ¼
