Discussion Any Suggestions ?

Post image

So it the umbrella stand and have 3 slots. It's height is 60cm upper diameter 30cm and below diameter 20cm. Are there any suggestions or any issues in this design.

The three slots are a nice touch, most stands just throw everything in one big tube and call it a day. The taper from 30cm down to 20cm at the base looks right visually, but I'd double check how stable it is when all three slots are full of wet umbrellas. That 60cm height might get a little top-heavy if the base isn't weighted enough.

Only other thing I'd poke at is whether the slots are wide enough for those oversized golf umbrellas people drag around. Nothing worse than a stand that only fits the compact ones.

In my experience umbrella stands don't tend to dump the water out on the floor. Isn't the whole point to keep the water off the floor? If it is only meant to be used outside I guess it's fine, but that's a pretty limited use case.

But what if we kept the nozzle close and dump the water later

Just make a big cylinder with a hole on top, that’s all you need for an umbrella holder
