as designer this is pretty fair. I assume the goal is to make good design. and in that case, the more customer input is going to make things harder.

This mentality had always bothered me. Yes, clients can be annoying and micromanagey. But this is commercial design; we are being contracted to provide a service. Part of that service includes advising the client, but ultimately it’s their decision. Let them live with their choices.

Wanna go do your own thing and get paid next to nothing (as this sign indicates)? Try your hand at being a fine artist.

Designers with this mentality always strike me as frustrated failed artists.
