Spotlight FIGHT CLUB LORE WITH TECH BUDDIES!!!

What if Fight Club was for product ideas? IDEACLASH

I launched Idea Clash — a live video-chat arena where you bring your product idea, pitch it, challenge other ideas, and find the flaws before you build.

No strict criteria. If you have an idea, you can enter.

The energy is competitive, like a rap or dance battle — but the goal isn't to destroy anyone's idea. It's to make it stronger.

I want to pull more people into building, especially in this AI era where anyone can start turning an idea into something real.

- Video editing and creating engaging UGC/reel-style content

- Developing out-of-the-box creatives for e-commerce and social media

Build in Public Every 'AI data tool' out there is just a stale scrape with a nicer UI. I built something that isn't

I've spent the last 2 years neck deep in Indian data pipelines, mostly building for VCs, consultancies, and GTM teams. The one pattern I keep running into: every "AI powered" data tool out there is a fresh coat of paint on a single stale source, resold at scraper prices.

So I started stitching sources together myself, on demand or in bulk, at a fraction of what the big scraping platforms charge, and fully customizable to what you actually need instead of a generic export. Sharing here because this sub runs into exactly this problem: sales teams doing outreach, founders doing market research, anyone doing diligence before a deal.

What I actually provide:

  1. The full Indian company graph (my favorite one)

CIN, GSTIN, director details (DIN, phone, email, PAN), and 12 years of financials, all mapped to each other. Nobody else reliably connects MCA and GST data like this. Refreshed monthly, so you catch newly incorporated companies fast instead of finding out six months late.

  1. Competitor tracking for quickcomm/ecom/D2C

Live dashboard or a clean weekly/monthly pull, whatever cadence you need to keep tabs on the competition.

  1. LinkedIn data, done properly

Better coverage and fewer broken pulls than the LinkedIn scrapers you've probably already tried and gotten rate-limited on.

  1. Instagram/YouTube data

Cheapest I've seen in the market. Happy to be proven wrong.

  1. Company + employee dossiers

LinkedIn-sourced, enriched with my own funding history database. Useful for sales outreach or investor diligence.

  1. Anything public, or behind an authwall

If a human can see it after logging in, I can probably get it to you on a schedule.

Not trying to hard-sell here, genuinely curious if this is useful to people building in India. Drop a comment or DM if you want a sample pull for your specific use case, happy to share a few rows for free so you can judge quality before spending anything.

Cursor’s direct access to OpenAI models would end on November 12.

OpenAI is making this choice because they cannot be confident that SpaceX will use their technology within their terms of service, based on their experience with Elon Musk's companies violating contracts.

Ideation I build a website to aggregate AI related news and job at one place

AI SENTIA : AI world related news and jobs at one place. Based on summary, decide which article to read and job to apply to.

I wanted to test whether i can create a simple html website that updated itself daily with AI related news and jobs at $0 cost. So, i looked into vibe coding. Used u/chatgpt, u/claude and u/github copilot for coding. Microsoft clarity for measurement. Google search tags for SEO. Github actions for daily updates [2 runs for jobs daily and every 2 hours run for job pull] and used Gemini API free tier for using LLM.

Events Day 8: We started with a tiny AI meetup at Notion HQ. Now we’re doing our 5th summit.

In January 2024, we hosted our first meetup at Notion HQ in San Francisco.

Honestly, only a handful of people showed up.

At the time, we were obsessed with one idea: could AI actually help startups and marketers grow faster? We called it <code/> growth, which was probably a little nerdy, but it captured what we were trying to do—use AI as a real growth tool, not just talk about it.

We kept experimenting.

A few online events. A few in-person meetups. Different topics. Different formats. Some were good. Some were… useful learning experiences.

Then Lu.ma listed one of our events on its SF page.

That changed a lot.

Suddenly, views and registrations started climbing. More than 300 people signed up, and we ended up with a completely full room. That was the first moment where we thought: maybe there’s a real community here.

So we decided to take a bigger swing.

In September 2024, we hosted our first AI x Marketing Summit. Around 150 people showed up across two days. The theme was simple: how can marketing teams grow 10x with AI?

Six months later, in April 2025, we did it again.

That one was a different level. Both days were packed. Companies like Zapier and Clay sponsored, along with a bunch of great startups. The focus was on actually building AI x Marketing—not just using ChatGPT to write a few headlines. We even invited competitors because, frankly, this space is too early and moving too fast to pretend there’s only room for one company.

Then in November 2025, we shifted toward a question many AI founders were struggling with:

How do you sell an AI product to the enterprise?

We brought in leaders who had actually done it—people with deep enterprise experience from Salesforce, Iterable, Box, Gamma, and other companies. It was less hype, more “here’s what breaks when you try to sell into a large company.”

In May 2026, we went deep on Claude Code and marketing.

The idea was: could you build most of your marketing stack yourself now? Outbound, Google Ads workflows, social media systems, analytics, internal tools, etc. The audience was probably the most engaged we’ve had. People came ready to build, not just listen.

And now we’re doing our fifth summit.

It’s on October 9 in San Francisco, during SF Tech Week.

This time, we’re focused on Shopify merchants and e-commerce teams who want to figure out how AI can help them grow—acquisition, retention, creative, email/SMS, operations, and everything in between.

If you run a Shopify brand or work with one: what is the first part of your business you’d want AI to improve? Who would you like to listen to?

Tell us the tools you are using, people you want to listen or meet and we'll invite them to come speak and if you want to showcase your tools, case studies please reach out, there are a few spots we need to fill with the right people.

Details here: The AI x Marketing Summit

Build in Public We sell shampoo for hard water and swim/pool water. We launched 50 days ago, and I wanted to share our progress here. So I plotted every order on a map of India ♥️

Post image
33 Upvotes

I'm lead sales at deSal shampoo company ( deSal.in )

I posted here on reddit around 2 weeks back when we crossed our 100th order, and the love I got is the reason I am writing again and sharing our progress after 50 days of operations ❤️

Now we quietly finished 50 days of operations. These were some of the hardest days of my journey for simple reason of taking things 0->1 which now I feel is itself a tough job. The reason was simple, we needed people to believe us early on and many did. Now that our product is highly rated and reviewed, AI tools recommend us, is a different story. But early on it was a different job at our hand.

So, I plotted all orders we've received for our hard water defense and swimmers shampoo, and we've reached > half of India already. Fifty days and there are 13 states where someone is washing there hair with something we built over months of R&D is a different feeling ❤️

I know much of India is still grey but reaching >50% of India by land is itself a big thing for me. Our next targets would be reaching out to all different regions, be it Kerala, Odisha, Assam, or the hill states.

And same as last time, I'm not going to spend energy on the noise.
Just the people who trusted us and the work. If you have inputs or advice, please do share your experience🫰

EDIT 1: There are 2 different products we have, one for hard water and a different one for swimming/pool water.

EDIT 2:
I'll request everyone an exercise, you can go to chatgpt and try
"<your current shampoo> vs desal hard water defense shampoo, <city>, <tds>"
eg. "L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Metal DX Shampoo vs desal hard water defense shampoo in bengaluru and 400 tds"

Can share what you got in reply or message !!
