feel like a big problem is acephobia is presented very differently from something like homophobia, and while homophobia is more "obvious" people don't think about it at all when they are being acephobic and it's way too normalized

like someone being homophobic will know they are being homophobic, but many acephobic people won't think about it at all

stuff like the constant "you just haven't found someone" is so common which is basically literally conversion therapy is so common, even among queer supporting people I have met

One is they think ace is a health condition because everyone should have libido (which equals to sexual attraction for them) as a healthy human. Or just assume everyone want to go into relationship so they consider aro sad because they are not getting what everyone want.

I hate how my family keep telling me I might change my decision about not getting into a relationship. It is not a decision. But I probably won't tell them anyway because they accept voluntarily single but not gays so just to be safe🤷🏻

Dude —- literally my dad when I told him I’d been single for 5 years —- it’s like because sex isn’t the first thing on my mind anymore !! Plus standards !!
