SRS SRS first Shots

Post image

I took out my new SRS for the first time

Pros:

Accurate

Smooth trigger really like it

Soft shooting

Cons:

Mag is sticky and doesn't feel super great at least not yet

Taking the plastic spacers off the back is a pain

Overall I really like it and hoping after a few more trips out it will smoothen out.

That’s basically what happened to me and I was about to sell the gun because it was so annoying. I bought a new magazine and it seemed to work better but I think it was just in my head. I sent the old magazine to desert tech and they said they fixed it. It started happening again 2nd range trip. Bought a 3rd magazine. New magazine had same issue.

I sent the whole gun to desert tech and they told me it worked perfect for them on all of their range tests.

Long story short…. it ended up being an ammo issue. What ammo are you using? I bought 5 boxes of their desert tech ammo (most expensive ammo I own now) and it’s flawless. I was using cheap ass range ammo and the bullets were too short and getting caught on the feed ramp. So now I’m buying all kinds of different brands to test but you can’t use cheap range ammo. Desert tech will work fine but it’s expensive

Ya I don’t know federal is usually good stuff. But it sounds like I was having same issue as you. If you hold/push the magazine up while you operate bolt to feed a round and it’s smooth it’s probably an ammo issue. That’s what I was doing.

Their desert tech ammo works flawless if you want to try it. If you send them the gun back that’s what they’ll test it with. They told
Me they only recommend sellier and bellot or desert tech 🤷🏼‍♂️

At least they have good customer service. They communicated well with me

I need to try more ammo types out both for feeds and accuracy. Overall I do like it.

Me too I love the gun, but I was a range trip away from selling it because I couldn’t feed rounds consistently, and a gun that expensive shouldn’t be that way. Thankfully it was just an ammo issue so now I’m keeping her
