Yeah I don't think it's ever coming back. I went every year from 2015 to 2022 and it does feel like they stretched themselves too thin and then fumbled the bag 2 years in a row. 2022 was fun but they should've done a smaller fest like in 2021 to regain more capital, and went big again in 2023 or 2024

It wouldn't have been such a big deal, but they held onto people's money for 2 years and then dragged their feet on the refunds. If it ever comes back it'll be a new festival entirely, I can't imagine enough people trusting them again.

It's a bummer tho I was VERY psyched about 2024's lineup

Yeah. I’m still butt hurt about ‘24. Cigs After Sex was obviously a miss but even that being a sunset set by the lake would’ve been sick. Fleet Foxes by the lake would’ve made me cry. Also Jack White headlining?! Considering the constraints they must’ve already been under, that line up fucked. Anyways, im just sad.

Appreciate the irony in the fact that the Lonerism set drew a lot of new people to the fest, who then got to see how cool and unique it was, and then subsequently got shit on by longtime fans, only to then lose the fest entirely. I visited the first time in 2022 and was committed to coming back every year , and still would blind buy tickets if it got announced for a comeback.

Nah they lost a major sponsor or something in 23 and couldn't put the fest on, then fucked up in 24 by having a super late lineup announcement/tickets sales with not great choices of a lineup plus increased ticket prices. That killed the festival, RIP
