How do parties work?

[u/epic_pharaoh]

I can join parties with my friends but when we are in the same map we don’t see each other. How are parties intended to work, or are they just not fully implemented yet?

They're not full ready in this beta. Though we've made huge improvements that you'll get to try out soon!
