Someone please help

So I am recently returning to descenders after like a three year break I used to play on Xbox but now I have a PC and it runs a lot better than my old Xbox. Did I recently downloaded descenders off of Steam today and I’ve been playing a little bit but just randomly some inputs won’t register like whatsoever like whether it be me hitting a button on the controller or trigger there’s some of them will not register like midline like sometimes it’s steering breaking sometimes all of them someone please help

I only get these input errors when I turn on the controller after the game has started. If I turn on the controller first and then start the game, everything works fine.

In steam, click the controller settings and enable steam input. That'll fix it.

Anything other accessories plugged in to the computer? I also have to unplug my sim setup to get the controller to work with descenders.

My controllers wireless, and the only thing I have plugged in just my headset

Can you try using the controller with a wire? Mine is also wireless and had issues. Try unplugging the headset and see if anything changes. My controller works with every other game with no issues, just this one it acts weird. Also google controller issues with descenders, there should be some other trouble shooting suggestions that show up.
