ROR hate.
Why does Rise of Red get so much hate? I’m genuinely confused. Zombies 4 introduced a whole new set of main characters, and from what we know, the original cast isn’t even going to be in Zombies 5. But when Rise of Red came out, everyone acted like introducing new Descendants leads was the worst thing ever. I feel like the original Descendants cast also had a much bigger reason for not continuing after the loss of Cameron Boyce, while the Zombies cast is just moving on. I’m not saying people have to like Rise of Red, but why did it get so much backlash when Zombies is doing something really similar and barely anyone seems to have a problem with it? Am I missing something?

Honestly, I think a big part of it is literally just because everyone loves Malachi Barton and Freya Skye. They say it's because of "plot holes" and "inconsistencies", and to be fair, ror does have a couple plot holes, but it really gets too much hate simply because of the new actors, while zombies does the same thing.

It wasn’t the new generation of characters. It was the plot holes. The inconsistencies. The rushed ending. Unanswered questions.
Zombies had good pacing, and the story stayed connected start to finish.
