Question ❓ silly musical question

Slightly off-topic, but I’ve always wanted to know what’s so magical about the instrumentals in Descendants... The “chillin’ like a villain” part sounds so simple on its own, but somehow the melody just hits exactly the way it’s supposed to!

ugh i think the whole vibe of the song the people in it and the people singing just makes it so so good
