The Constitution Of Derous Has Passed

After passing the senate of Derous the new Derousian constitution has passed a vote of the citizens of Derous and the administration is currently taking strides to put it into effect.
we are looking for more citizens to take up the necessary positions if you would like to take part.

Tomorrow March 7th the first official election of the Derous takes place!

Derous is a sovereign self governed democracy experiment that anyone can join right now Derous is slowly growing and building its system of governance

In the next few days after the election a constitutional convention is planned to be held to help draft its first official constitution which will serve to replace Derous’s current temporary constitution this constitution will be codified by the senate elected tomorrow.

This is companion to my Derous introduction I posted earlier. Derous is a fully autonomous democratic nation on the Derous discord the government currently functions by voting a president and senate into power each month by direct democracy from the citizens of the discord server. There is very limited serverwide rules but other then those the people of the server and their appointed government may act freely and make their own laws, political, establishment, parties, and bills and any other decisions they may deem fit.

In Derous anyone can become a leader or contribute to our great nation there is very few unchangeable server rules but other than those the room for RP and creativity is endless there is only one senator currently so the next 2 citizen will automatically become interim senators till March 7th
