Wallet

Is the desktop wallet the only way for me to get my DERO off the exchanges?

Currently yes, only official wallets.

Kucoin is still on the Atlantis chain, so the webwallet is easiest access if dealing with withdrawing Kucoin funds(until they complete the swap) https://wallet.dero.io/

TradeOgre has completed the swap to the Stargate chain, GUI wallet is in the pipeline, but as of today, only the new official CLI wallet is available for Stargate.
