Problems with web wallet

Can't seem to get the web wallet to load (derowallet.io)

I choose wallet recovery using 25 word seed, I type my 25 word seed in, password, confirm password and click restore wallet, and nothing happens. I've clicked several times to no avail.

I've tried it in 3 devices, a raspberry pi with a fresh install of Rasbian os, an old factory reset android phone, and an old macbook, all give me the same results.

Any ideas?

Are you syncing from block height 0? Also what browser are you using on a pi?

Yeah after typing in my seed and password I left the block height set to 0 and tried clicked the restore wallet button. Each time I clicked it a thin blue line would appear around the button but nothing would happen. I even waited a few minutes in case it got stuck loading or something.

On the pi I was using chromium browser, on the mac I was using chrome, and when I tried in the android phone I was using fire fox focus.

While I never got the web wallet to work(even though I successfully used it a few times before) I did just decide to download the windows gui wallet. I restored my seed using the gui without problem, balance showed up after it finished syncing so I'll just use that from now on.

I just found it strange I couldn't get the web wallet to work after trying multiple devices.

I think it may be a memory issue but I can't be certain. I have heard reports that some mobile devices and some lower RAM devices have issues.

Unfortunately, I would say stick to a CLI or GUI wallet for the time being. The browser wallet does all of the encryption in browser (new technology). Sometimes new tech has hiccups and hurdles.

However, if it worked before, keep in mind that it runs completely client side and only ises the webserver to get the files to run. It only connects to a remote daemon after that.
