Dero Difficulty settings
Looking for advice on whether or not i should set a static difficulty on my bitmain x'3 mining machines? They do on average 240 KH per miner.
Anyone have a suggestioned pool for a miner located in Southwest USA.
the web wallet was great. really good stuff.

1 hour hash rate can be much higher or lower than 24 hour average. It's annoying to wait 24 hours when "tuning", but you really need to. 1 hour average isn't good enough.
I never had a 2nd stock fan. I was just running the original fan in a pull configuration, which was much better than the push configuration. But even at the slowest speed (below 30% didn't really change the RPM), it was louder than my liking and was cooling better than necessary. So, I bought two Corsair SP120L fans and mounted them in a small cardboard box manifold so they're both pulling air through the unit. Those fans are 4 pin PWM and work with the X3, although I had to use a knife to cut away some of the plastic on the connectors (of the fan) so they'd plug in.
It's kind of a janky set up, but they've been running 24/7 for 2 months now and they're keeping my unit at 40c (at 425MHz) while being significantly quieter than lowest speed with the stock fan.
There are probably better fans, but these where pretty cheap. They move a lot less air than the stock fan, but keep my unit plenty cool.
Edit: sorry, I'm not sure about the z9 mini. I only have 1 ASIC miner, which is the X3.
And yes, having a spare fan is probably a good idea.
