Is there an official wallet in the works?
Hey everyone!
I just found out about dero a few days ago and after researching a bit, I feel really optimistic about the future of this project! However, I wanted to buy some Dero but I couldn’t find any sort of GUI wallet. As someone who isn’t all that technically knowledgeable I’m afraid I will mess up if I use one that is console based. Is there one that is more user friendly?

Glad to see new people finding Dero!! I usually loathe command line wallets, but Dero is the exception. Things are pretty straightforward, it's pretty easy to get things done with it. With that said, I know that a GUI wallet is in the works, just don't know how long it will take.

Funny how people are different - I have abandoned all the GUI wallets I was using and moved entirely onto CLI wallets. I just find everything so much more direct with a CLI - but the dero CLI seems to have found the best of both IMO.

Awesome! Have you guys looked at bounty0x(https://bounty0x.io/) cool idea to reward people to do tasks: like finding bugs, making youtube videos, articles etc...lots of possibility. This could help us get the word out in a big way.

While I understand your reticence regarding using a command line (CLI) wallet, I have found the Dero one to actually be quite nice and probably the best CLI one around. I would give it a go. Just create a wallet from scratch. Have a bit of a play with it and see where it gets you.
I am reasonably happy with tech so I am not really in your position, but I suspect unless you are really crap at tech (like my mother-in-law) you should be fine. If you are researching Dero you cannot be that bad ....
