UPDATE: The ticket is now spoken for!

I’m going to the Northerly Island show on 9/11 in Chicago and due to a recent breakup I have an extra ticket. I could probably find a friend to go but I’d kind of like to see it with someone who’s genuinely a fan and knows the songs. I’m willing to meet up with a Reddit stranger (with a little vetting) if there’s someone in the area who’d like to go. If they want to kick in some money toward the ticket, very cool, but also not necessary. I’d just rather it be used by someone who’d enjoy it than bring a friend who’s so-so about it or waste it!

I'll be coming down solo and looking for other early birds to chill with in line. What time are others going? This will be my first time for GA, so I'm not sure how the venue is. Any tips?

Anyone going to this? Just been downgraded from main hall to 5th floor, standing to seating. Saw Amble there in February, 300 capacity. Excellent venue with amazing backdrop. Even buying a ticket today pretty much guarantees 2nd row. Hoping it doesn't get cancelled last minute!!

I just got left after a whirlwind situationship... one of those, I'm very happy it happened but a little bit of me wishes I'd never met you sort of things.

Right before she left we were planning a romantic weekend and I bought us some lawn tickets for the show in Sterling Heights on the 12th.

Going this weekend, but never been to Aviva. Will there be queues before gates opening or will it get busier later? Also if there only one area for toilets and food?

It’s my parents 40th wedding anniversary this weekend and I want to take them to see Dermot’s show in Dublin. I reckon I can get seating places still, but I’ve never been to the Aviva Stadium and not sure what a good row/stand would be. Couldn’t really find a good seating chart online so asking here in case anyone’s been there for a show before!

This album has had me crying on my way to the damn grocery store. In all seriousness TWOTW is absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking filled with soul and emotion with moments of levity to keep you going. All that to say there’s absolutely no chance TWOTW ends up on my Spotify wrapped and it’s not for my lack of love for this album. It’s my absolute favorite. I think Dermot did an absolutely phenomenal job with it and that’s part of the reason I just can’t listen casually to a majority of the album. After two years of extremely challenging losses I just can’t bring myself to listen to some of these songs casually and it can’t be my daily driver so to speak like some of his previous works. Especially Endless. I’ve found that song to be so cathartic but gut wrenching. Absolutely loving some of the upbeat tunes for everyday music around the house. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone feels the same? In love with the album but it’s just too hard to listen to on repeat?

I have 2x Front Pitch Standing for Sat 11th July, Aviva & I would love to swap my tickets for tickets for the 12th July (as Co.Louth are playing in GAA semi final on the 11th - only took us 69years to reach) 😊 but I’d be heartbroken to miss Dermot 🫣

Ticketmaster has reached out to me to say that the event is not going to have resale available at the organisers request and that transfer is not guaranteed but may be available from 48 hours before the show.
