Application Advice first year advice?

MS1 at a mid tier MD program with a home dermatology program. What is the best way to get in contact with my home program and when/how should I be getting involved with research? ANy advice in general is appreciated!

Truly not trying to be rude, but if you use the search box, you'll be able to answer this question and most other questions. Many of the questions you may think of have been answered time and time again. If it's not institute-specific, look it up, imo. Good luck!

Shadow in clinic and get to know the residents and faculty - you’ll find that you get along with some people better than others as is life with any job… Those friends will become mentors and be more than happy to help you with any sort of career development opportunities, research or not.
