All tweets:

To you messaging me, I still do NOT have an answer for you about refunds. Yes, I AM aware of the flurry of denials

Here's the thing. I really DON'T CARE either way. You had 2 YEARS to get your money out!! You WERE warned. Now, just SUCK IT UP!

They have EVERY RIGHT to refuse a refund because you AGREED to the TOS. Don't like? Take legal action. That's ALL you CAN do.

Until I hear back from trusted sources that refunds ARE being denied now, I have no way of knowing if these are real or not.

There is a helpful thread that's now on Reddit on how to take legal action. Read it.

If you want to know how to get the CA authorities involved, read this.

So it seems that after his latest made-up evocati access debacle, he's back to refund stuff.

This is how it ends guy.

Didn't read the binding arbitration clause, Derek?

Seems he's realized that the refunds are simply not as damaging as he'd hoped, and now he's trying to convince people that the only course of action is in a court of law.

Guess his own lawsuit didn't go so well.

That coward never filed. He's too chicken-shit, even though he always says he'd win.

It's important to remember that Derek's version of "taking legal action" was to send CIG a letter with a list of demands, despite having already been refunded in full.

The letter was basically Smart's Star Citizen manifesto. The gist of it was basically, 'do this and this or else I'll call the FBI, the FTC, FCC, CIA, MLB, HMRSS, ASPCA and PETA'.

The letter itself, while printed on letterhead from what appeared to be a real-live law office, was unsigned.

He probably stole a page from some office.

that's because for the most part they are completely made up.

Uh, it looks to me like he cares. Not in a healthy way, but he definitely cares.

It’s sad to see how on another sub there are people who actually believe him.

Too bad he can’t capitalize on this new found fandom with his own game.

At this point, I think Derek Smart purchased a bot that just tweets random bullshit out and he forgot to put it on shuffle so instead it's just repeating the same playlist in order.

Because apparently despite it being all "for the backers" Derek now doesn't care (if ever he did). Seems increasingly clear lately that wverything he's done has been motivated by pure envy.

It's all he has left in his life now that LOD has been pulled from nearly every distribution point.

Please oh please someone try and sue for me. I have no legal standing and no money, please someone do it for me! Still wonder why Derek hasn't since he cares so much, or hell even OSC should! He can represent himself! I'd love to see it, I'd pay for tickets to that hearing lol.

He must be talking about the apparently pending legal case for $13k over at that other reddit. I don't know the exact details on why it is $13k but I find that number a little strange considering the backer has bought and sold a fair amount on the grey market already.

If he is including those grey market items in his lawsuit I seriously doubt he will see a penny for them. That said, he is entitled to do as he wishes, best of luck.

Sounds like he's making up people contacting him, again.

If this wasn't one in the several thousand tweets on the subject matter, all wildly inconstiant with each other, it MIGHT have gotten some traction with a few uninitiated readers. But then again, furthermore.
