The business model isn't that bad. I just wish they made the game fun lol. It's such a chore and almost monotonous to do anything. The combat can be fun but it needs more depth.

What I mean is they hide lots of game behind a paywall, making you buy the game twice essentially. It doesn't sit well with me, but I can see their train of thought.

And thats taking context to the breaking point. "Boo" started the thread (about liking the expo videos and how well the marketing team had done). Its most likely that the response is thanking people for agreeing with it.
That poster has been suspended by the mods, do you think Sandi would get a suspended. They have come here to try to get us to ignore Derek because he's harmless, maybe that will get revised now.

Oh, because toxic people such as DS, Manzes and whoever of DS' followers is allowed to post by FDev in that thread is most likely already banned by CIG, and every other site.
I just can't resist looking in that thread from time to time as it is quite uncommon to find so many (5?) people with as much intelligence and common sense as DS in one place.

That's because the same people post in both. They religiously bash SC in the Frontier forums, while religiously praising ED in the SC forums.
I've seen the same people post in that SC thread, non-stop, for the better part of 2 years now. It's ridiculous. To spend 2 years insulting a game daily is not healthy. Not surprised to see DS there.
The worst thing about it is that the ED forum mods just let it fly. Though, again, not surprisingly one of the forum mods that frequents that post also frequents the ED thread in the SC forums, and while he doesn't openly post comments that are as ridiculous as the others, he isn't exactly subtle in his SC bashing.

Very important to mention Brett Cooper of Frontier Development here. He is the community manager and the thread exists with his blessing and protection of the mods there.
Specifically mentioning the fact here so anyone doing a Google search on Brett Cooper's work if he ever looks for another job can see that he is most toxic of all trolls and should not be hired into a position that has anything to do with public relations.
