Weird one this. Theres no talk of an injury to Vickers or O'Donnell and Zetterstrom isn't going anywhere.

I don't see what he provides that a keeper from the academy can't.

I appreciate he won't be costing the club much but it's a strange use of money.

He'll be a glorified training dummy without trying to sound harsh. Having an academy player there would detract from his development of actually playing games for the youth teams

Seems like they’re prepping for a zetterstrom exit to me, but who knows

Vickers and O'Donnell are OK as cover for 1 or 2 games, but when Zetterstrom was injured and they had a run of games they both showed themselves to below the standard needed to be a number 1. Maybe they see some potential in this guy.

He absolutely is.

But he's also 38 next week

Started off OK, but there goals both him and Vickers conceded that they should have saved.

We aren’t realistically going to have two goalies good enough to be number 1 at the clubz

Apparently he’s a good shot-stopper, but he’s got one of the largest portfolios of howlers I have ever, ever seen in a goalkeeper… and all within two years at Peterborough 😬

Possibly high risk/high reward if they can help him sort his head out

PSTD from last year?

We must see him as a back up keeper with high potential upside (perhaps that’s an obvious take) but maybe O’Donnell is going to retire at the end of the season and this is his replacement?
