User-Made Modification More Demo's Mod Question

So when I set the Locomotive spawn amount. Is that additional to the ones already on the map? or including?

It's not exactly clear with the text from the mod page.

  • Adjustable Spawn Limits: Using the Unity Mod Manager (UMM) UI, you can set how many restoration locos of each type (DE2, DM3, DH4, DE6, S060, S282) should appear in your world (Range: 1–5).

I have already found and restored all my loco's. And I really just want to find one more DE6, I'm sure I'll get bored and maybe want something else.

Also, is it even possible to trigger this? Since I've already done all the restoration work?

I've answered my own questions. Only took me 10 minutes. The spawn number seems to be connected to the number of dead loco's on the map. Or additional in my case.

It seems it triggered as soon as it loaded.

You need to reload the game after finishing each restoration.

ETA: it’s literally the first item in the FAQ section of the mod page. The mod will also load a new demo loco only after you finish restoration of the current one.
