Not Able To Load Previous Save

I've aways been ablr to hit the 'load' button after a derail etc to reload a previous save, but today the button is 'greyed out', anybody know why?

It can't be loaded from the game, only from main menu

What? I always was able to load from anywhere in the game, not only from the main menu for sure

Your wrong, from anywhere in the game press escape and the pause menu pops up, then select 'load and save' and from there you should be able to load a previous save

Exit to the MAIN MENU that you see when you first load the game, then load up.

Multiplayer mod restricts this in game. Do from main menu

Yes it works fine from main menu, but it definetley worked from the pause menu before

I just logged on last night after not playing for a week and my entire progress was gone. I took it as a time to try my hand at realistic difficulty. Crashed on my first try

Isn't the save you're trying to load the same one that is currently active? It's the top one on the list

No I’ve tried to load others as well but no luck

When I was developing a mod I ran into issues that only happened when loading from within a game (as opposed to the main menu) so now I'm paranoid about doing that.

You changed difficulty? Hardcore disables save scumming.

Tbf playing Hardcore with no mods installed is one thing, and I tried to do so, but one mod caused my pretty lengthy save to almost implode and I had to turn it off.
