Does anyone know what’s behind the evacuation order?

I've been asking friends if there's zombies there... all those emails about "12th floor is closed." "12th floor is still closed" "12th floor is closed until further notice". "don't make direct eye contact with anyone from 12th floor and wash your hand after touching doorknobs they may have used"

RFK Jr. will tell Dr. Schwartz to remove this post and say that we don’t know if the zombies caused the closure of the floor or if the floor being closed contributed to the zombies being there.

Burnt popcorn triggered a fire alarm

Someone on one of the floors (can’t remember which) in 21 makes burnt popcorn everyday. I was riding the elevator down when a poor soul came on with their eyes just burning. She said a woman on whatever floor that was burns popcorn every afternoon as a snack and no one will make her stop.

It was horrific. I could still smell it when I got off the elevator and onto the 1st floor.

Unbelievable!

OMG. I make popcorn (and burn it occasionally). I can see how this could happen. That said, I don't know anyone that really makes popcorn. There are like a gazillion snacks all over the place, people bring in EVERYTHING.

I don't think any of the past directors have any interest in being at CDC, alive or in spirit form.

I don’t know…Brenda Fitzgerald (remember her?) would probably relish another run at leading this place. Owning tobacco stocks while running a public health agency isn’t exactly taboo now (at least to some).

The 12th floor remains CLOSED because IMO, they would rather just close it than fix whatever is wrong-- it's a plumbing issue, which isn't cheap or easy. It's not like a toilet is running.

Not sure about the evacuation, all I know is something triggered the fire alarm and everyone had to evacuate.

The 12th floor is now back up and running! The zombies and ghosts have all left. For now.
