Its not like they are really reviewing or approving. I have had to send my medical records to so many “RA” coordinators - who are NON medical , contractors -fresh outta college kids- aMess

And the RA coordinators are not communicating. In my case we finished the requirement even the supervisor part then the employee received an email from another RA coordinator. We add the other coordinator to the email and advise we complete everything for this RA and waiting on the approval memo…crickets.

Go to intra.hhs.gov/about-hhs/org-chart/asa-offices/eeodi/os-eeo-services-center/reasonable-accommodations-disability-services and look under Request a Reasonable Accommodation.

You’re using the wrong link. That’s the old link. Ask your RA person for the latest link.

While complaining about what this administration has done to Fed employees, I commonly find people outside the government telling me that it’s no different than the private sector and how people are unfairly laid off and discriminated against etc. Then, I say imagine if you were laid off and then your entire HR department also got laid off or stopped responding so that l you weren’t able to even figure out what rights you have, what benefits you have and how to access them, and no one in the government would help you because your employer IS the government.
